Newly renovated large-capacity event space at Highlands Museum & Discovery Center’s 4th floor:

This newly renovated space located on the fourth floor of our museum is the perfect location for weddings, reunions, conferences, and much more. New restrooms, a private staging area for caterers, ambient lighting options, Wi-Fi accessibility, and a private garage entrance are just some of the unique positives of Highlands Center! The Perfect Venue for any Occasion

With approximately 11,000 square feet of space, Highlands Center can accommodate events of any size. The space will hold up to 350 people with tables and a dance floor and over 600 with theater-style seating

Full Center Price: $1,800 (with an additional $200 for parking garage rental)

  • Renter will have access to the venue 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for set up the day prior; and 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. the day of rental. Additional time can be rented for $200 per hour.
  • Guests can bring outside tables and chairs, but the museum has 50 72-round tables, 17 six-foot rectangular tables, and 500 hardback padded chairs available that are included in the cost of the rental.

Convenient, Accessible Parking

Parking is a snap when you rent Highlands Center. Our facility is conveniently connected with the Ashland City Parking Garage located behind the museum. Event attendees will enter and exit through a private entrance via the attached and enclosed garage walkway.

Our Wild Animal Show Parties presented by Gary Bussa of Des Coveries Wild Animal Shows are the perfect mix of fun and education for your child’s next birthday. Bussa has many different animals, including reptiles and arthropod that he will bring to the party.

Party Times

SATURDAYS
10:30 a.m. to noon, 1 to 2:30 p.m., 3:30 to 5 p.m.

The party room must be cleared within a half-hour after the scheduled party time.

A deposit of $50 is due when the party is booked. A deposit of $100 is due for Wild Animal Show parties. Payment can be made over the phone via credit card or in person with credit, cash, or a check. Deposit payments must be received at the time of booking. The balance is due the day of the party. The deposit is refundable only if the rental is canceled at least two weeks prior to the day of the party.
